The Joffre lakes are some of the most iconic and perhaps most photographed lakes in BC. I got inspired to paint middle Joffre lake after exploring the Joffre group over the summer and spending the night at Keith's hut, nestled under the peaks. The sheer scale and power of these mountains left me in awe. I thought I'd capture the most iconic view of the area: a serene turquoise lake with Mt. Slalok towering in the back.
