This painting is of the iconic Black Tusk as seen from Whistler. I summited the peak multiple times and felt heavily inspired to capture the mountain in all of it's towering beauty. This piece depicts the mountain as seen from around the area of Peak Chair in the Whistler ski area, at the end of a beautiful blue-bird day.
