This painting is of the beautiful "Valley of the ten peaks" towering over autumn larches as seen from a small lake in Larch valley. I visited this exact spot myself on my way to summiting Mount Temple and its beauty left me in awe. I was fascinated by both the towering mountains and the unique golden larch trees. I painted this piece as soon as I got home, inspired to capture Larch valley's serene natural beauty. Illustrated are 7 of the ten famous peaks, Mount Little, Mount Bolwen, Mount Tonsa, Mount Perren, Mount Allen, Mount Tuzo and Deltaform Mountain.
